Nitrogen
- Nitrogen is important for the growth and development of any crop, but to ensure that optimal nutrition is provided, the requirements of the crop at any given growth stage must be respected. When the nitrogen intake is above the limit (luxury nitrogen intake), there is a decrease in production and often also in quality.
Efficient nitrogen uptake by the plant must be promoted by the uptake of other macro- and micro-nutrients, such as:
- phosphorus,
- potassium,
- sulphur,
- magnesium,
- manganese,
- molybdenum.
