Nutrients

Iron

  • Iron nutrition is often mentioned in connection with the yellowing and chlorosis of the leaves. The reality is that if a Fe deficiency is addressed at this time, it has a negative impact on the harvest.
  • Iron plays an important role in many of a plant’s life processes: metabolism, DNA synthesis, energy transfer, redox reactions, respiration, photosynthesis, and the formation of sugars.
  • If foliar applications are timed correctly, the plants respond with a better yield and quality of production.

Most sensitive are:

  • fruit trees,
  • vines,
  • vegetables.

All other crops are moderately sensitive.
